John obtained his Real Estate license in July 2002 and went to work
for Cumberland Real Estate and Auction. Due to John’s strong
love and productivity for the company, he became one of the proud owners
of CRE&A in January 2004. John has continued to be one of
the top producers in the company, in spite of what the housing marketing
does. John has built his business and a team that gets the job done. The
numbers speak for themselves. Gross Sales 2004 – 11 Million,
2005 – 13 Million, 2006 – 18 Million, 2007 – 23.7
Million and 18 Million in 2008, in spite of a drastic down turn in
the real estate market.
Prior to coming to Cumberland Real Estate, John was in the mobile
home business for over 10 years. John personally supervised
over 1200 mobile home placements while handling the land improvements,
permits, contractors and service on all of them. The Mobile
Home Lot John managed, was the #1 mobile home retailer in Middle Tennessee.
In the last couple of years John has built several new homes in different
locations in Wilson and Smith County. John has a diverse knowledge
and experience in Real Estate. He has always taken his customers
needs personally. If it can be done, John is not afraid of taking the
steps to make it happen. These three things have continued to
be the winning combination, in spite of the highs and lows of the current
Real Estate Market.
John was born and raised in Ashland City, Tennessee. He attended
Cheatham County High School and Middle Tennessee State University. John
and his wife, Christy, have been married for 18 years and have three
children. John enjoys competitive swimming, running and weight
lifting. He has run a few half marathons (13 miles). He
and Christy ran their first full marathon (26 miles) this year, The
Music City Marathon. John
is dedicated to spending his leisure time doing activities with his family.
